REGISTER

Every year 200 leaders of the exhibition and convention industry gather for the Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF), the event exclusively for C-executives — CEOs, Presidents, Executive Directors, and Vice Presidents — at associations and independent organizers . Event leaders make connections, discuss business opportunities, and explore ways to increase revenue. C-level content focuses on innovations and field-tested strategies for keeping conventions and exhibitions relevant.

Why Attend

The Industry’s A-List
At ECEF, you’ll join the A-list of C-level decision-makers from the exhibition and convention industry, the “Who's Who” of association and independent executives from around the world. 100 percent recommend ECEF to a peer.

Strict Credentialing
ECEF enforces strict credentialing. All participants must be qualified before registering. And sponsors are kept to a minimum (not to exceed 25 percent of participants) to ensure top-to-top networking among event producing executives.

Unbiased, Customized Content
ECEF provides only vetted content. All speakers are acquired and guided by ECEF's producer, Sam Lippman. They represent unbiased experts in their fields and their presentations are custom-tailored for C-level executives.

Peer Learning and Networking
ECEF packs nine hours of peer learning and networking into one day. The event begins with a Welcome Reception (Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm) and continues the next day with more than six hours of interactive programming and more networking. Attendee-speaker and attendee-attendee exchange are the hallmarks of ECEF.

This program is eligible for 4.5 hours toward CEM recertification.  As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 4.5 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

May 26, 2020
  1.  Join over 125 of the  "Who's Who" in the industry for C-level networking in an informal setting.

  1. Sam Lippman, President, Lippman Connects will start the day with a data-driven overview, spotlighting top-line findings of the 2020 ECEF Pulse research. ECEF Pulse is conducted annually by Lippman Connects and Freeman. Get ready for five minutes of fresh insights delivered without fluff or filler.
  2. Chet Burchett, CEO, Reed Exhibitions, discusses how the power of purpose will keep exhibitions vibrant in the next decade, while data-enabled technology will keep us relevant. But woe to those who lose their sense of purpose to the glow of digital solutions or volume-led focus. Chet will focus our minds on the essential questions that drive our industry. And he will deliver a clear-eyed assessment of whether we can continue to meet the needs of future marketplaces.

  3. Each ECEF 2020 registrant stands and introduces themselves to the 200 executives in attendance.

  7. How a partnership between an association (SGIA) and leading media company (NAPCO Media) led to the development of PRINTING United, a brand new industry exhibition that revitalized and changed the entire landscape of the industry. 8. Julie Cottineau, Founder and CEO, BrandTwist will give you the tools to build stronger, more profitable events.  She will explain how to use your event’s brand to achieve your goals and the importance of expressing your brand across all the touch points of your customers’ experience.
