Two CEO Keynoters Announced for ECEF, May 27, 2020, Washington, DC
“Two CEOs will bring two very different experiences, perspectives, and messages to ECEF in 2020,” said Sam Lippman, President, Lippman Connects, in announcing the keynote speakers for the Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum.
The Opening Keynote will be presented by Chet Burchett, CEO, Reed Exhibitions. Titled “Focusing on Dreams, Not Concrete”, executives will hear how the “power of purpose” will keep the event industry vibrant in the next decade. As Lippman observed, “Chet will discuss how we need to maintain a balance between data-driven technologies and the beating heart of our events.”
Julie Cottineau will offer the Closing Keynote, “Innovation with a Brand TWIST”. Cottineau is CEO and Founder of BrandTwist, and former VP of Brand for Richard Branson’s Virgin. Her keynote will explore the power of brand to drive stronger, more profitable events. “All available data prove that exhibitors and attendees have more choices than ever, increasing the importance and value of our brand,” said Lippman. “That’s why I am so excited that Julie will reveal her secret sauce.”
Additional presentations are under development. ECEF will be held May 27, 2020, at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC. In addition to the program, there will be a Welcome Reception on the evening of May 26. And following the Closing Keynote, ECEF features a Closing Reception and TechDemo with fourteen hands-on demonstrations of event-ready technologies.
