Scott Schenker of Microsoft to Keynote ECEF

ECEF will Draw 200 Exhibition Executives to DC on May 27

The Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum, May 27, in Washington, D.C., plans to deliver a full day of thought-provoking presentations to the 200 CEOs, executive directors, presidents, vice presidents, and other C-level executives at associations and for-profit organizations who will participate.

“With the recession behind us, our industry has learned the value of keeping events relevant and betting on a better tomorrow. ECEF 2015 is focused on helping organizers make the most of emerging opportunities,” said Sam Lippman, president, Lippman Connects, producer of the conference.

Scott Schenker, general manager, Events and Production Studios, Microsoft Marketing, is the keynote. His topic is “Seeing Around Corners: How to Prepare for Changes in Technology, Society, and the Economy.”

Other topics include Show Floor Synergy; Winning Strategies for Growing Your Event; Is Sustainability a Must in the Exhibition Industry; Attendee Acquisition and Exhibit Sales Success Strategies; and a closing session by Kerry Bodine, author of Outside In: The Power of Putting Customers at the Center of Your Business, who will discuss the role that events play in a larger ecosystem that’s designed to build brand loyalty.
