Joshua Oloriegbe

Recent Graduate, Jarvis Christian University

Joshua recently graduated from Jarvis Christian University in Hawkins, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating on cybersecurity. He was a Presidential scholar and completed his studies with a 4.0 grade point average. During his tenure at Jarvis, Joshua founded and led an organization that helped students with transportation and logistics around campus, and revived a cybersecurity students’ club to raise awareness of international standards in Information Technology (IT) and security. The club also seeks opportunities to identify and counter vulnerabilities in organizations’ systems.

At the same time, for nearly a year and half, Joshua has been a mentee of The Annabelle Project, collaborating with Sam Lippman, his mentor, to explore opportunities to apply IT and cybersecurity skills to the management and operations of events. Joshua has attended a number of conferences, including PCMA’s (Professional Convention Management Association’s) Convening Leaders, Afrotech, and IAEE’s (International Association of Exhibitions & Events’) Expo Expo. He recently gave a presentation at the HBCU AI Conference in Austin, and is a project lead for the PCMA chapter on the Jarvis campus. He comes to ECEF as a speaker to give voice to his observations as a Next Gen staff and as an attendee. You might see him helping ECEF 2026 with registration and operations.
